My Approach
I tailor my approach for each individual client, however, I particularly enjoy using elements of narrative therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I find it especially beneficial to incorporate mindfulness and somatic experiencing to help my clients reconnect with their bodies and realign with their purpose and hopes for their life.
I also believe in a holistic approach and encourage collaboration with loved ones and other providers. I use a Health At Every Size informed approach and believe that this is a crucial element to helping people to recover from eating disorders.
Being someone who recovered from an eating disorder myself, I find joy in being able to help others heal and find the freedom that comes along with recovery. Being an eating disorder therapist is my passion. There is truly nothing better than helping clients to make peace with food, their bodies, and themselves.
Full recovery is 100 percent possible!
*I am taking on a limited number of new therapy clients. If spots are full, I am happy to refer you to another clinician or put you on a wait-list.
