My Approach
I take an empathic and empowering approach. I meet my clients where they are, while also helping them to gradually challenge their eating disorder thoughts and behaviors. I practice from an “all foods fit” philosophy.
I work from a Health At Every Size informed perspective. I feel that this approach is crucial when it comes to helping people to heal their relationship to food, their bodies, and themselves. We live in an era where a woman in a larger body is congratulated for eating in a way that would raise concern if she was in a smaller body. That is not health. That is weight stigma. I enjoy supporting clients of all sizes in healing from eating disorders.
I also believe that we are so much more than our physical bodies. My passion is helping people to find freedom from eating disorders and body hate, allowing my clients to get back to the important things in life.
Full recovery is 100% possible.
*I am taking on a limited number of new coaching clients. If spots are full, I am happy to refer you to another clinician or put you on a wait-list.
