We treat a diverse array of eating disorders! This includes anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, compulsive exercise, ARFID, body image issues, and OSFED. Additionally, we offer treatment for co-occurring disorders, such as OCD and mood disorders.
What therapy methods do you use?
Generally, our therapists utilize a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). When appropriate, we also implement Family-Based Therapy (FBT-informed) for children and adolescents. Our team is knowledgeable about the Health at Every Size (HAES) philosophy and intuitive eating practices. Some therapists may also use Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) techniques.
What if I'm afraid to recover?
We get it - recovery can be a scary process to start. We’ve also been there - most of our team has either personally recovered from an eating disorder or has helped a loved one through recovery. It is okay to be scared to recover and to also reach out for help. You don’t have to do this alone.
