We provide therapy for clients aged 12 and older. Eating disorders can affect individuals at any stage of life.
What types of eating disorders do you treat?
We handle a wide variety of eating disorders! This includes disordered eating, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, orthorexia, compulsive exercise, ARFID, body image concerns, and OSFED. We also offer treatment for related co-occurring conditions, such as OCD and mood disorders.
What therapy approaches do you utilize?
Typically, our therapists combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). When suitable, we also use Family-Based Therapy (FBT-informed) for children and adolescents. Our team is well-informed about the health at every size (HAES) model and principles of intuitive eating. Additionally, some therapists may incorporate Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).
What if I’m hesitant to start the recovery process?
We get it - recovery can be a scary process to start. We’ve also been there - most of our team has either personally recovered from an eating disorder or has helped a loved one through recovery. It is okay to be scared to recover and to also reach out for help. You don’t have to do this alone.
